The Network Certification Exam
The Network Certification exam is an official test that you must pass if you want to receive your Network Certification. It is a standardized exam that has been accepted worldwide so that all who are Network Certified will have the same skill set. There are however, many different Network Certification exams and the one you take will depend upon the course of study you took and the requirements of your job.

There are thousands of testing centers all around the world and chances are there is one relatively close to you. Most major cities have a test site, almost certainly so if they have a college or adult education center which offers Network Certification or MCSE training courses. Each test has a fee of around $125 and if you don't pass, you can retake the test until you do, but you have to pay for each attempt. That is why it is important to be well prepared. You will save a lot of money and frustration if you prepare well beforehand and pass the Network Certification exam on your first attempt. The Network Certification exam for CCIE which stands for Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, is regarded as the most difficult Network Certification exam. It requires a written exam and also a day-long lab exam which is very demanding. This exam is for senior level network administrators who have passed previous Network Certification exams. Don’t let that scare you. The CCIE Network Certification exam is widely known for being extremely difficult and is for network administrators who already have a lot of training and experience. Many of the other Network Certification exams are for entry level or intermediate level information technology professionals and are equivalent to the level of training and experience.
